Module 2 Notes: Overcoming Objections
How people listen
when you listen to someone – you spend a lot of time thinking about what you’re going to say next rather than listening.
with objections in mind – you spend a lot of time thinking “this is all BS and as soon as they stop talking I’m going to tell them all the ways that it’s malarkey”
their mind is full of “But…but….but…
Address objections first – and they’ll be better able to listen to your content.
How do you do this?
Figure out why they’re thinking ‘no’ and bring it up first.
What are your people thinking?
They’ve already tried a bunch of thing before that didn’t work
— so you say you’ve identified 3 mistakes people make when they try to do X — and you’re off onto your content…
my example:
I know what you’re thinking: “Oh video!! it takes too much time , costs too much money, learning the technical part is too much trouble – and I’m not that good on camera…”
I want to show you how simple it can be to reach a big audience just using your iphone – and how doing live video can actually save you time (compared to blogging and posting on social media)
Assignment
Post a new ‘Did you know…?’ offer video incorporating how you’ll overcome objections
