Welcome back to the Standout Business Show, where we help expert entrepreneurs build a standout brand, stand out in their market and win the clients they deserve. I’m your host, brad Powell, and today we’re diving into a game changer for any business how to use video to sell stuff. Imagine this You’ve got an amazing service, but your sales aren’t where you want them to be. You might be doing everything right, but you know that something’s missing. Well, the secret weapon that could unlock the next level of growth could be sitting right under your nose, and it’s in the form of a powerful tool you’re likely already familiar with. It’s called video. So today I’m gonna show you how to use video to drive more sales and share the four must have videos every business needs to succeed, and the secret is you only need four kinds of video to make it’s so simple. So let’s dive into what you’re here for. How can video become your most powerful sales tool? If you want to drive sales, you need the right content, and not just any content. You want video content that connects with your audience, builds trust and positions you as the authority in your field. And here’s the secret Video actually does something that no other content can it humanizes your brand. It builds trust and it gives your prospects an inside look at who you are, what you do and why they should care. And the more trust you build with your audience, the more likely they are to buy from you. It’s not just about making a random set of videos. It’s about making the right videos, the ones that answer your prospects’ questions, solve their problems and move them closer to buying.

Brad Powell:

Okay, let’s go over the four must-have videos every business needs to successfully market and sell. Number one is the case study video. Case studies can be your very best salespeople. They show potential clients the results they can expect from working with you, using real-life examples from your past clients. When you’re crafting a case study video, make sure to highlight the challenges your client faced, how you solved their problem and the measurable results they achieved. Focus on the before and after transformation and, most importantly, make it relatable by telling the story of someone just like them who overcame the challenges.

Brad Powell:

The second type of video is what I call the why we’re different video. In this video, you want to challenge the status quo. You want to go out there and bust a myth, go against conventional wisdom, and this is how you can differentiate your business from your competitors. So this is where you talk about your unique approach, your values and what sets you apart. It’s not about bragging, but instead it’s about showing potential clients why they can’t get the same value anywhere else.

Brad Powell:

The third type of video that you can make is what I call the process video. A process video can actually be your secret sales weapon, because people are always wondering how does it work. So you can give them a behind-the-scenes look at what you do, show them step-by-step how you deliver results. Not only does this build trust, but it also positions you as the expert in your field. This is a really great one to put on your About page. This is a really great one to put on your about page, and you can actually literally give them the experience of what it’s like to work with you by taking them through an actual moment where you are doing coaching with a client and record that and make that into part of your process video.

Brad Powell:

And the fourth type of video that you can make are the frequently asked questions, and these FAQ videos are absolute gold. They address common questions and objections that your potential clients might have. Think of this video as a way to preemptively overcome objections and move people closer to making the buying decision. Now, of these four types, the most powerful is the case study video. So let’s get into the fine details of crafting a case study video that does the selling for you.

Brad Powell:

When I make a case study video, I focus on three things. First, I start by clearly defining the problem the client faced before they came to me, and then I’ll dive into the process that I use to solve that problem, without getting too technical. The goal here is to make it simple and relatable. Finally, I’ll showcase the results and show the data, share the success stories and the real impact that working together with one of my favorite clients made. The more specific the results that you can share in this video, the better. You want to think of a case study video as a testament to your expertise. It’s like a personal referral from one of your happiest clients, but in video form, and because it’s their face and their personality in the video, it makes it feel real, authentic and powerful.

Brad Powell:

So now that you have a better idea about the power of video for driving sales, it’s time to take action.
