The four P’s

People think about marketing – they think Promotion

But – three other vital areas

People, Purpose, Positioning

We’re going to focus on positioning

Sam Horn – Intrigue
TEDx talk; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xlg8zdSVjgg

Goal: create 1 video that’s like a signature talk – where you intrigue, peak curiosity and speak to sell.

If you can’t get attention – you’ll never get connection

We don’t want more information – we want to be intrigued

turn your videos from being a one-way, waste of time communication into productive, rewarding 2-way connections

Intro:
Ask “Did You Know” questions
– start with 3 RELEVANT did you know questions
– 3 things your audience doesn’t know – but would like to know about:
–the scope of the problem
–urgency of the issue
–dramatic shift in a trend
–unmet need you’re filling

Use the word Imagine
– who wouldn’t want that?

get their pre-frontal cortex working

help people picture your ideal senario

You don’t have to just imagine because I’m going to talk about how this it’s possible…
show how it’s not too good to be true but in fact it’s a done deal
share a testimonial or case study

keep this short (60 seconds or less)
